Team management meeting decides to rope in Mohammad Amir and Asif Ali:

London: In the latest meeting of Team Pakistan's head coach Micky Arthur and chief selector Inzamam Ul Haq, the decision has been taken to include Mohammad Amir and Asif Ali in the final squad of ICC World Cup 2019. They will replace Abid Ali and Faheem Ashraf.

Mohammad Amir and Asif Ali both were not considered for the initial World Cup squad, however team management said that their performance would be judged on England tour and then final decision will be taken. Asif Ali strengthened his case by scoring back to back quickfire fifties 50 (36) and 51 (42) in 2nd and 3rd ODI respectively, however Mohammad Amir could not participate in the series due to chickenpox. His case was strengthened by the thrashing Pakistani bowlers received in the series so far. They Conceeded 373/3 (50 Overs) in the 2nd ODI  and 359/4 (44.5 Overs)  in the 3rd ODI. 

Update on Mohammad Amir's injury:

Mohammad Amir who could not participate in all three ODI's on this tour due to chickenpox will recover on Friday according to his doctor. However he will to be playing the fourth ODI due to weakness but he might play the 5th ODI.
